I find the age between 18 and 22 to be particularly interesting. Young adults show traits of both adolescece and adulthood simultaneously.  To try to capture this duality I made a series of my youngest sister. I have always felt that my sister and I are able to communicate best through my photographing her. She is 20 years old and is in her second year of college in Gambier, Ohio.  I see these images as plot fragments that come together to tell the story of a period in a young woman’s life.  I hope that this series will give some clues to her story while giving space to the viewer to create their own narrative.
